Nashoba Valley Chamber Member Testimonials

Serving as a key component of the local business community, the success of the Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce can best be measured through the satisfaction and successes of its members.

Warren's Office Supply
Sean MacDonald
September 2012

The Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce is an integral component for any small business to become a part of the community it serves. Warren’s Office Supplies has benefited greatly from participating at events like the Business After Hours and by getting involved with the Chamber Referral Networking Group. We’ve made some good connections since we joined the Chamber and I look forward to making more!

The Chamber offers a variety of opportunities to promote our business in the community. Recently the Chamber simply mentioned on their Facebook page their need for printer paper and the quick turnaround that Warren’s offers – and within days I received several new leads. They have certainly proven the value of membership to me - I couldn’t think of a better Chamber to be a part of!

Thank you Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce! We have been members of the chamber for over 11 years now and I have found that your professional attitude is so influential towards the growth of our business. The Chamber continually supports us through social media and personal connections! We have been so pleased with the chamber that when the economy turned around and we found that it was time to tighten the marketing budget the Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce was truly one of the first on the “Keep List”!

I have also become an ambassador for the Chamber because I have such high regard for the professional atmosphere that is created throughout by encouraging member’s involvement which then generates the growth of each members business. It is this attitude that I find infectious so I continue to say thank you and I appreciate all that you do!

Holiday Inn Boxborough has been a member of the Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce for many years. The Chamber staff always works hard to promote business, increase awareness businesses in the community and help create relationships amongst business owners and community leaders. Being a member of the Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce has been an asset to us as some of my best customers have come from a contact made through one of the Chamber events.

I began working with Melissa more than 4 years ago. From the first day we met I was able to see the hard work and corporate vision that Melissa has. Melissa and her team are constantly on the look out for ways to assist the members. Of all the chambers I have been involved with in my 20 years of business, nobody has come close to the value or the dedication that Melissa shows toward her job and toward her membership.

Our favorite way to connect with businesses is belonging to the Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce. We attend every chamber event we can, from the new member reception to the Annual Banquet. We ask if we can help at events from sitting on the golf course during the Golf Tournament, volunteering to help set up for the Taste of Nashoba, to volunteering on a committee. We have meet more people from local businesses through actively being involved in the chamber than in any other way.

Girl Friday Executive Administrative Support
Jessica Halloran

The Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce has been instrumental in relation to the progression of my company. Still within its first year, Girl Friday Executive Administrative Support is at a critical point of development and I consider NVCoC membership a key asset for success. Much of my business thrives on developing strong working relationships and I have found that the motto “People do business with people they know” could not be truer. Networking, professional seminars, and political awareness have been influential opportunities for me and I would not have made it this far without the support of the NVCoC and its valued members. In addition, I have had a lot of fun and have met some fantastic people!

Enterprise Bank
Deb LaPointe

As a Regional Business Bank, Enterprise Bank is a member of a number of Chamber’s of Commerce in the area. What is unique about the Nashoba Valley Chamber is the number of opportunities that a new member can utilize to help grow their business. Let’s face it, with this economy everyone is working hard to stay afloat. Whether you join the Ambassador committee, the Chamber Referral Network, Government Affairs Team or attend one of their many networking events, this chamber and their staff really step up to the plate to help you grow your business. If networking makes you squirm, this is the Chamber that will help you make it second nature. I am pleased to be a member of the Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce and can say that it has helped me to enhance my business on behalf of the Bank.

ShirleyArts!
Meredith Marcinkewicz

Thanks to the recent Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce networking opportunity, “ShirleyArts!” met Jeff Schwarz of Image Software Services to our mutual benefit. ISS has scrap materials which can be used by art classes and Destination Imagination teams at the schools. ISS may also prove to be a good producer of fundraising Christmas cards for Shirley’s First Parish Meetinghouse and they may be a better company for publishing the Shirley Middle School yearbook. Thanks Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce for introducing us.

The Nashoba Valley Chamber has been an essential part of my sales and marketing activities. From the networking breakfasts to the many special events that the Chamber holds throughout the year, I have grown my business within the Nashoba Valley region. I can’t think of a better vehicle to promote yourself and your business.

Joe Sciacca

The Nashoba Valley Chamber has provided an excellent venue for me to connect with businesses in the region. I have met several new clients through the networking events, working on committees and getting involved. I have also enjoyed the social aspect and have enjoyed the opportunity to bring my wife to some of the Chamber events I’ve attended. I have found the staff to be friendly and supportive and genuinely interested in supporting and promoting the member businesses. To top it off, I’ve enjoyed and benefited from the Nashoba Valley Chamber so much so that I recently joined the Board of Directors in an effort to give back to the Chamber.

Marge Darby

Melissa,
Please let your members know that the majority of inquiries we received concerning our recent search for an administrator mentioned seeing the job posting on your site. This is a wonderful way to connect with local job candidates. We also placed an ad in the local papers with nowhere near the number of responses. If we do need additional help in the future we will definitely go to you first!
Thank you,
Marge

The Chamber Referral Network (CRN) has increased my visibility, referrals and resources within the Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce. In the past year, I have met more chamber members and received more referrals. The Chamber Referral Network has also helped me realize the valuable resources that I have access to as a business owner and chamber member. I recently moved my business within the Town of Ayer and I utilized existing members within the Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce, such as a commercial realtor, moving company, telecommunication company and carpet company to help me accomplish this difficult task. I now keep the Nashoba Valley Business Guide and Membership Directory at my fingertips.

G. W. Archer, Inc., Littleton & Ayer
Gary Archer

G.W. Archer, Inc. of Ayer and Littleton has been a member of the Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce for over ten years and our membership has more than paid for itself. The key is to be proactive and get involved. The chamber has a variety of ways that you can get involved - based on the time commitment that you can offer. I would suggest contacting the Chamber staff when you are ready. Melissa and Patty are always friendly and professional and a pleasure to work with. They really make the effort to get to know you and help your business grow.

ISS (Image Software Services)
Jeff Schwarz

The Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce is an integral component for any small business to become a part of the community it serves. Image Software Services has benefited greatly from participating in events such as the Business After Hours, Working Womens Luncheons and Chamber Referral Network. In turn, the Chamber provides us with an avenue for serving the greater community through activities like the Taste of Nashoba. The efforts and initiatives brought forth by the Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce to serve area businesses and the local economic climate should be applauded and I urge every business to get involved.
