RESPONSIBILITIES:
This opportunity will give the successful candidate the chance to contribute to the broad range of AMEC's air quality services. Responsibilities include:
Implement a wide range of air quality models and/or implement air pollution control technology review and regulatory documentation under the direction of senior AMEC staff to support project permitting and operations
Participate in technical analysis and documentation associated with air quality efforts
Contribute to establishing and maintaining positive and effective client relationships
Develop technical or regulatory expertise in air quality issues
Support marketing and business development efforts on air quality projects
Participate in nationwide opportunities to support and expand air quality capability
Provide support to project managers in other areas as needed.
Qualifications:
A Bachelors or Masters degree in meteorology, engineering or related field
Strong organization and communication skills needed.
Must be detail-oriented, responsible, and comfortable with spreadsheets and calculations.
Willingness to travel and participate in a range of additional project support activities important.
Experience with air quality modeling, regulations, emissions control technology and/or FORTRAN a plus. Database and/or Microsoft Access experience desired.
Reliability, strong work ethic, and ability to work in a team-oriented environment are a must.
